cc3200 http server STA mode without using smartconfig

You can use your PC for this. Connect your PC to the same AP to which CC3200 is connected to. And you can type in the ip address in the browser as shown in the wiki.

Instead of the smartConfig, you can use the sl_WlanConnect in your code to connect to the intended AP.

But When i run the http server example, it is saying,
Host Driver Version: 1.0.0.1
Build Version 2.2.7.1.31.0.0.3.0.1.1.8.8
Device is configured in default state
Use Smart Config Application to configure the device.

So i suppose this step is to get the IP address. But without getting IP how to connect? I tried smartconfig search device, but failed.

This is the part of the code saying WlanConnect()

Hi Vinu,

You need to modify this application. Make use of sl_Wlanconnect API and remove smartConfig from the code (You can refer to getting_started_with_wlan_station example).

When you do this, the CC3200 will connect to AP and acquire the IP address. Following which you can type this acquired IP address in the browser of your PC.

I removed the smartconfig section and inserted the wlanconnect function from the wlan_station project. Now i am getting the following....

Host Driver Version: 1.0.0.1
Build Version 2.2.7.1.31.0.0.3.0.1.1.8.8
Device is configured in default state
[WLAN EVENT] STA Connected to the AP: WATERBITAP ,BSSID: a0:f3:c1:e4:c1:69

Device is in STA Mode, Connect to the AP[WATERBITAP] and typeIP address [192.168.32.113] in the browser

But i cant access the page when i type the IP address in the browser..any methods to debug??

Please ensure that the PC and CC3200 are on the same network.
