After I connect the device to my computer, I cannot see it under Device manager in Windows 7.

I have all the necessary windows .Net and C++ installed.

when I run radio tool, I got the CC3100lIB.DLL is missing.

Can you provide some help on this?

Hi Kel,

I had CC3100 SDK and CC3100 3200 service pack 1.0.1.6-2.6.0.5 installed. In the video, it is asked to have SDK 1.0.0. Does this matter?

One of the critical problem for me is that I cannot see the CC3100 ports under device manager even I had all the necessary windows software, see the pictures above. Thus, I cannot perform the steps shown in the video.

Hi Lishuai,

The video was made at the time of CC3100 SDK 1.0.0 that is why it asked to have CC3100 SDK 1.0.0.

Use the USB Cable that came with the Advanced Emulation BP. Connect your setup to your PC/Laptop without the use of USB Hub.

You suspect that the USB hub is causing the problem?? I was using a different USB cable, it does not solve the problem.

Hi Lishuai,

Yes, because I had issues using a USB hub to connect my Launchpad to my PC. Anyway, your problem is unusual. Your device should appear at Device Manager. I am also using Windows 7 and had no problem following the CC3100 Getting Started Guide. Wait for a TI Engineer to help.

Another suggestion is to try the same at another PC and see if you get the same problem or not.

Hi Kel,

Indeed, I also tried to connect the DUT with one of my colleges computer. I donot see it the dut in his device manager either.

I also tried with another USB cable, it did not solve my problem.

Yes. When Insatll the SDK, it was asked to install these drivers. Also tried to download the driver and installed. Nothing worked. Still run into missing CC3100Lib.dll issue. Running out of ideas. reboot and reinstall does not help.
