Does uniflash or the cc3220 look at the expiration date of the certificate chain for signing the image?

Hi Andrew,

This is not checked by the device because it is not a requirement for the device to implement and maintain the RTC with the current date and time. This would be an additional challenge, especially when trying to support features like factory reset.

It is not checked by UniFlash as it would only be meaningful at the time the image is created, which could still be used beyond the expiry date.
