My question was already asked in CC3200 forum, but, as I can see, a probleb was not solved: 
I need to set a DHCP host name to distinguish my devices in router's dhcp client list not by MAC only. I tried both methods described in the manual and in the link above, but without any success. Both of configurable names are not DHCP hostnames, and router shows connected CC3100 devices as "unknown".
