RTOS/CC3220: Possible to user Ethernet over USB with CC3220

Part Number: CC3220
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP432E401Y, CC3120

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

Hello all,

I'm trying to determine if the CC3220 can support Ethernet over USB. We are currently looking at the MAX3421E to provide a USB SPI Interface. However, can the CC3220 handle USB Ethernet packets, specifically from the USB Gadget Ethernet driver?

My concept is that the CC3220 receives USB Ethernet packets and basically rebroadcasts the TCP packet over the WiFi interface.

Is this possible with the CC3220? Or would you recommend something else?

Thank you all for your time!

Brett
