CCS/CC3220SF: Custom board in syscfg

Part Number: CC3220SF
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

I'm working on a new design incorporating the CC3220SF. I'm interested in using the new syscfg tool in CCS for driver initialization. However, I can't seem to find documentation on how to define my own hardware (it comes pre-baked with hardware definitions for my dev board, the CC3220SF LaunchPad, but I will be ordering my own PCB very shortly). Is this available somewhere?

  • Hi Peter,

The latest version of SysConfig has the ability to work with custom boards. You will need at least CC32xx SDK version 3.10.00.04 and CCS version 9.0. Once you have both installed, you'll see an option to Switch to Device in the SysConfig Preferences.

    Best regards,

    Sarah
