CC3220MODA: SDIO support

Hi,

My customer is interested in using SDIO on CC32xx device.
I guess these device support SD card only and SDIO is not supported, correct?

    Hi Tashiro-san,

    The SD card interface on the CC32xx is designed for SD memory cards. There is no example of SDIO on the CC32xx, but looking at the SD peripheral interface it might be possible to support it. I do not have access to an SDIO card to test with though. I cannot find a record of anybody using an SDIO device with the CC32xx so I'm unsure whether or not it would work.

    Given that we do not have any SDIO libraries or test hardware, even if it were possible to use on the CC32xx then it would be hard for us to provide support. The only way to verify this would be for your customer to try using their prospective SDIO device connected to a CC3220 launchpad, with a port of an SDIO library.
