CC3200:

Part Number: CC3200

Hi,

My customer is using CC3200 and found sometimes the data connection is not functional.

This abnormal behavior will last for one day and the behavior will disappear.

We found there is a known issue: MCS00106970 and  it seems like the issue that my customer met.

In the release note of SDK V1.3,  the recommended workaround for the referenced issue (MCS00106970) is "Disabled Re-authentication or set it to a very long time" .

Please help to check if there is actual detailed/recommended implementation method/software for this issue.

SDK: V1.3

servicepack: 1.0.1.11-2.9.0.0

WIFI AP: DLINK DWC-2100AP

Thanks.

  • Hi,

Please try the latest SDK (v1.5) and SP (1.0.1.14) which introduces a bug fix for a related issue (WPA2 enterprise re-authentication issue).

In any case, the description of the issue in the release notes doesn't correlate with the internal bug description which only talks about the device getting disconnected.

Do you see any disconnection indication?

If the issue still occurs with the latest SDK we will need to see NWP logs (see chapter 20.1 in https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru455j/swru455j.pdf) and to get more details about the failure.

    Br,

    Kobi
