CC3235SF: 0.6pF on SOPn

Hi,

The LAUNCHXL CC3235SF has 0.6pF on SOP0 but not SOP1 and SOP2. Can you please explain what this capacitor is for, and why it is only on SOP0 and not SOP1 and SOP2 as well. The Hardware Design Checklist says "please place a .6pF cap close to the pin" - but it is not clear which pin(s) this note refers to.

Hi Ryan,

The 0.6pF capacitor is needed to provide additional filtering for 5GHz. For more information on the additional filtering caps, you can refer to section 4.2.1 of the CC3135, CC3235 SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® and IoT Solution Layout Guidelines
