CC3235SF: various questions

Part Number: CC3235SF

Team,

Can you please help answer these questions, or direct me where I can find answers:

  1. In the 5GHz band will the chipset operate in U-NII-3: 5.725 GHz to 5.850 GHz ? Any other restriction with UNI -1 or UNI-2 Operation ?
  2. Is there any restriction on operating on 40MHz and 80MHz channel, OFDM on 5GHz ?
  3. What is the RSSI trigger threshold, minimum signal level a client requires to maintain the current connection? Before it starts roaming to another AP?
  4. What is the selection criteria for a new Access Point during a roam event?
  5. Is interoperability for 802.11k, 802.11v and 802.11r available?

Thanks

Viktorija

  • Hi Viktorija,

    1. In the data sheet it is stated that the CC3235 supports U-NII-1, U-NII-2A, U-NII-2C, and U-NII-3 20-MHz BW modulations.

    2. The main limitation is that only 20MHz works.

I am still researching your other questions, and I appreciate your patience.

    Regards,

    Michael
