hi guys, its nijus

i am using msp430fr5739 exp board+cc3000 module,

i burn the flash with Home automation application,

after that i connect my smart phone to AP and install the smart configuration application to my phone,

my AP IP as 192.168.1.1

now my mobile ip address is 192.168.1.101 and my device IP is 192.168.1.100

when i start configuration by my phone with smart configuration application, its configured fine

that the LED1, LED2, LED3, LED4 are glows one by one,

then i install the home automation android application to my phone and i opened it, and wait for more than one mns to detect the device

but the device cc3000 is not detected in my android application.

what is the problem here?

plz help me on this

hai guys,

in home automation application the Android application is not connected with the device

and it doesn't popup any devices, but the msp430exp board have smart configured successfully and i received the LEDs 1 to 4 glows one by one

plz help me why its not connected? my smart phone is HTC explorer A310e, which have the android version as 2.3.

Hi Sujin,

I believe the minimum Android version for this is 2.3.3. Is there a way you can get a hold of a Jellybean phone to try it out?

HI Sujin,

It should work, but some phones have issues with multicast. Is there any way you could try with another device?

i also tried in android v4.2.2, it doesn't work same problem arises

is any modification on android application is need, if it so in which part i want to modify,

Hi nijus,

It could be some settings on your access point also. Make sure it is connecting to the correct AP, by looking at the AP's list of DHCP clients. You may want to try sending multicast packets from a different source, and checking to see if your Android device is able to see them. Again, make sure you start the Android app first before powering on the FRAM.

Hi nijus,

I know it is too late to comment, but here are my two cents.

If LED's 1- 4 are glowing, that means you are able to connect to AP (LED 1-3) and just send mDNS message (LED4) to android client. This doesn't mean you received ack from android client. I remember you have to us different linker command file (use the one that comes with Basic Wifi application linker command file) for home automation application ( not the one which comes home automation source code).
