CCS/SIMPLELINK-CC32XX-SDK: Is it safe to delete the old Simplelink SDK folder ?

Part Number: SIMPLELINK-CC32XX-SDK

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I just recently noticed suddenly that  Simplelink Academy for CC32xx and Simplelink SDK v 3.40 vanished from the resource explorer and it is asking me to download the v4.10. After doing this upgrade i see all the old folders of the older simplelink SDK and the academy folders are still lying inside the C:\ti and this is being a piling up issue in my hard disk.

Will it be safe to delete the old SDK folders ? Or are there serious consequences to it.

Please let me know.

Thanks

  • Hi Turjasu Pyne,

The SDK versions are not dependent on each other, so you can remove old versions. TI Resource Explorer has a Package Manager in the settings, so you can go back to an older version if you prefer.

    Best regards,

    Sarah
