CC3235SF: Can I use J-LINK from SEGGER to program CC3235SF?

Hello Guys,

Good day.

Can J-LINK from SEGGER be use to program CC3235SF ?

CC3235SF is not part of the supported devices from J-Link, however CC3220SF is supported and they are both ARM Cortex-M4 Simplelink Wireless MCU, so I am thinking maybe CC3235SF can be supported as well?

Hi Art,

The CC3235 is supported, but it is important to clarify that the JTAG pins can only be used in development mode to temporarily load an image for debugging (until the device is reset). To program the device, you need to load a binary to the external serial flash which can be done via the UART.
