Good morning I have develloped a Gateway with CC2530 that manage a small ZigBee network.

The problem is that quite often the network stop working, no packets are sents.

After a variable interval time the antenna doesn't trasmit any more.

To exclude antenna saturation problem I wish to ask you if CC2530 + RFX2401 (amplifire) + 17 dbi antenna gain coud generate saturation problem and eventually how can I discover it and fix it.

From datasheet of RFX2401, it can output power upto 21 dbm and I don't think it is a saturation problem. Can you specify the Z-Stack version, examples, and steps you are testing?

Hello thank.

Z-Stack is: ZigBee PRO 2012 or 2003 I am not sure which one.

I am showing you the RF power transmission used in our Gateway.

The code isn't short, so let me show you, at thist step, just the schematic.

After "ramdom" time, the antenna doesn't transmit anytink.

We used a 15 dbi gain antenna, model: I-WL2-ANT14 INTELLINET.

I cannot judge anything from your schematic. I don't think this is HW issue so I suggest you check from SW first. Please download latest Z-Stack Home 1.2.2 and run the examples. See if you have this issue on latest Z-Stack.

Good morning, I will try to connect CC Debugger and SmartRF Studio 7 to CC2530.

My question is it feasible to read registers values, during Gateway going on and do I have to compile to code with the debug option?

Yes, to fix the problem, I wish to read CC2530 registers values. while the Gateway is working.
Is it possible to do that with Smart RF Studio and CC Debugger?
I don't have the source code, just the .hex file.

I don't think this can work because CC2530 would reset once you connect it with CC Debugger.

Thank, but, after reset, the CC2530 can work properly as CC Debugger/Smart RF Studio wasn't connected to the board or, instead, the code inside CC2530 stopped and waiting something from the Debugger?

When CC Debugger/Smart RF Studio connect to CC2530, it might reset CC2530 and ruin the memory or registers on CC2530. If so, you cannot collect correct memory or register values.
