Hi,

Currently our side plan to develop a new project for Zigbee Tag. We choose to use CC2650 module to save the development time and cost.

I came across these 3 CC2650 EMK.

> The CC2650EMK-7ID

> The CC2650EMK-5XD

> The CC2650-4XS

If we plan to use the smallest size module, should we choose the CC2650-4XS (4mm x 4mm)?

What is the different between:

- Internal bias and external bias?

- differential RF and single ended RF?

For the Zigbee application, which is suitable?

Please advice.

All these 3 packages can be used as Zigbee product without problem. The decision should be how many IO pins your application needs. Since you talk that you would develop Zigbee tag, I suppose CC2650-4XS is good enough.

Thanks for the advice and suggestion.

By the way, for CC2650, did TI side done any positioning test?
Like which is the best location/position to place the module?

If not, can we conduct the test at our side?
What is the procedure needed?

Don't understand what you mean positioning test but you can find reference design on www.ti.com/.../cc2650emk.

Hi YK,

What i mean is this:

But this is for CC2431.
Does this kind of positioning test available for CC2650?

No there is no such document for cc2650.

As I know, there is no such information about CC2650.
