Have a simple question, I just go the ZigBee development kit and am currently trying to configure HyperTerminal as per the Software Examples User's Guide, found through the link below on page 6.
The second bullet point in section 3.2.4 says the following:
IF the new connection window pops up (shown in Figure 3) enter a name of the new connection and click OK. But nothing pops up when I connect the USB. Opening up HyperTerminal manually I get to set the name of the connection, but the COM port selection window does not show up. Instead another windows pops up, requesting host address, port number and a connect using option: TCP/IP or SHH.
I was a little confused with the wording, because they mentioned IF the connection window pops up, and in my case it doesn't, unless I open HyperTerminal myself. If any of you have possible suggestion to circumvent or resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate the input.
