what is the slandered procedure to conduct the Range Test for zigbee module?

what parameter should be considered for the test and what should be the threshold value to conclude good communication/poor communication?

    Hi,

    This is very dependent in your application. What is the desired range expected for your application?
    Are you trying to test point to point range or overall mesh network coverage with multiple routers in the network?
    A good way of testing range on Zigbee would be implementing a Packet Error Rate(PER) application and observing what is the PER based on distance between the nodes.
    Also you should be the one that determines what is a good threshold for good or bad communication since this will depend on many variables in your specific application such as desired latency or whether your application tolerates having re-transmissions of packets or not.
