Hi TI team,

I wonder what the max timer(one week, one month?) of clockDuration for the function of Timer_construct.

The type of clockDuration is uint32_t. And I think I can set a week of clockDuration(604,800,000 milliseconds).

Since it's usigned int32, you can set it up to 4294967296 mili-seconds.

If you have read the SYS/BIOS Timer API, the Timer_Params specifies a period and a period type. The period (or clock duration as you call it) is a uint32, and period type is either microseconds or clock ticks (RTC). Period type of microseconds would yield you the maximum duration, 2^32-1 microseconds, which equals to 1.193 hours.

I think you rather want to use the SYS/BIOS Clock module, where you can specify a timeout in 2^32-1 Clock ticks, which equals to 7.1 weeks (with default Clock tick settings).
