Could I know what the purpose of MAX_DEVICE_TABLE_ENTRIES=50 is? Define how many devices can connect to Coordinator??

Hi YK,
It means if I connect too much devices(over this number), my Coordinator will crash?? or my Coordinator will not accept any other End-Devices after over this number??

Lawrence,

MAX_DEVICE_TABLE_ENTRIES is a define which is more relevant in TI 15.4 Stack. Since Zigbee uses the 15.4 libraries, there is a requirement to have this define, however, it should not affect your code in any way since Zigbee does not use 15.4 security as defined by the Zigbee specification.

It's defined by NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST which is 20 by default.

Hi YK,
I want to know if I want to increase the connection End-Devices, I need to modify the value of NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST in my Coordinator or I need to modify the value of NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST in both(End-Device and Coordinator) because I see the define of NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST in both source code??

Another question:
What's the MAX value of NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST?

You only need to modify the value of NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST on Coordinator. The MAX value of NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST depends on RAM/Flash size of your chip so you can try to increase it up to causing build error.

It is workc Only in Coordinator? But if i have coordinator and two router the number of device can be 60?

I couldn't understand your question. Anyway, NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST means maximum number of devices that can connect directly to coordinaor or router.

Hi YK,
According to your responses, it means if NWK_MAX_DEVICE_LIST is 20 and one coordinator and router in the Zigbee network, the max number of End-Devices are 40(20 End-Devices directly connect to router. And the router and other 19 End-Devices can directly connect to Coordinator). Am I right?
