LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: TI's PIR motion sensor(TIDA-01476 ) to detect people in the room

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1

Hi TI team,

I knew when people enter the PIR sensor, it will generate a detection motion.

I am not sure when people pass(enter and leave) the PIR sensor, whether the PIR sensor will generate two motions(motion and no motion)? And How many motions will be detected when people enter and stay in front of PIR sensor?

I also want to know PIR Motion sensor whether it can achieve below scenario or not.??

Scenario(PIR motion sensor to sense motion and people in a room when occupied):

There'is a PIR sensor that is installed in the entrance of the room. When human pass PIR motion sensor and presence in the room, the lights should remain on.

People have left the room, then the countdown commences and the secondary automation for example lights, can turn off.

Thanks
