Hi all:

I found a weird issue about the CC2530 that it fails to pair a new device after a period of time.

The firmware I use is from https://github.com/Koenkk/Z-Stack-firmware/tree/master/coordinator/Z-Stack_Home_1.2/bin/default

I turned on the sniffer and catched some packets, here is what I found:

I can't figure out why the new device did nothing after the assocation. Can anyboby tell me why?

Hi Snow,

How many devices are connected to the CC2530 ZC? Does the ZC MAC ACK from the last Data Request have the Frame Pending bit set? Have you spoken with Koen Kanters on the subject through the GitHub interface? I don't see where the NWK key is transported but the log provided does not match the screen shots. Please consider the Known Issues Wiki recommendations: https://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Zigbee_Known_Issues_and_Proposed_Fixes#ZC_sends_ZEDs_Leave_Reqs_after_MAC_Association

Just one ZED connected to the CC2530 ZC, the ZC MAC ACK from the last Data Request didn't have the Frame Pending bit set.

The ZED had connected to the CC2530 ZC once, when it left the ZC, it couldn't join the network of the ZC.

I check the log again, and there is not NWK key is transported from the APS command.

After I download and check your https://github.com/4djason/Z-Stack-firmware/blob/master/log/associate.pcapng, it doesn't match your screenshot. Can you elaborate which Z-Stack version and example you use as ZC and what ZED do you try to join the coordinator?

You can follow this https://github.com/4djason/Z-Stack-firmware/blob/master/log/README.md guide, add a network key, and get the full log.

The Z-Stack version is 1.2.2, and the ZED I use is Aqara WXKG11LM Smart Wireless Switch.

I had tried README.md steps but I don't see similar sniffer log as your screen shot. For Aqara WXKG11LM Smart Wireless Switch, are you sure it is Zigbee Home Profile 1.2 compatible?

Aqara WXKG11LM Smart Wireless Switch can be paired with the ZR which runs Z-Stack 1.2.2a.
