CC1352P: Problem with PAN-ID and Channel

Hello Community,
Sometimes after a HARD_RESET the network wakes up with Channel 0 and PANID 0xFFFE. They are the same values always. Also, the devices don't work when this happens. Do you know the origin of the problem ????

Hello Randy,

This is the intent of the hard reset command functionality as it clears all NV memory meaning that the network information is not retained. You could instead issue a soft reset command or manually perform a power cycle or toggle the reset pin.

Everything clear in your answer. Yes, the devices do not work for what you say. But what I wanted to know is, why always 0xFFFE and Channel 0 ???? Does it indicate something specific ???

Hello Randy,

As these are invalid PAN ID and channel values it shows that a network has not been initialized.
