CC2652RB: Need help in Thread border router configuration

Part Number: CC2652RB
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3130, CC3230SF

Hi ,

We are developing an Industrial IoT product using Thread protocol. For this, we are planning to use CC2652RB chip by TI. We went through some of the documentation by TI like http://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=AHJj4J1TlqSDsf7FG8IbNg__pTTHBmu__LATEST and a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiydJ6LfyXk which tell about how to configure a node as border router. In both the cases you have used Beagle-Bone Black as host processor and CC2652RB or similar kind of chip as NCP.

But in our case, for border router Beagle-Bone Black is not feasible. We want to just push data from CC2652RB (thread node) to cloud. Instead of using Beagle bone black can we use any other TI’s Wi-Fi chips like CC3130 or CC3230SF as host processor with CC2652RB?

Do you provide any examples for border router configuration other than using Beagle-Bone Black? Instead of Linux can we use any RTOS for this task?

Below is the reference block diagram for the same

Best regards,

Abhishek
