Hello Community,

I am working on the CC352P ZNP device.

I have already posted the question related to getting the 0x00 channel whenever getting the MT_ZDO_EXT_NWK_INFO.

I have made changes in znp.syscfg file to primary channel list with only 0x0B channel enabled & secondary channel list is empty.

Still, I am getting the 0x00 while reading the MT_ZDO_EXT_NWK_INFO.

Will you please help me to know,

How can I debug this that the network forms or not?

What's making trouble to establish the Zigbee network?

Hello Shiv,

If the channel shows as 0x00 then you haven't commissioned the device, please use the APP_CNF_BDB_START_COMMISSIONING Monitor and Test API. You can follow YiKai's blog post if preferred. You will also know whether the device believes it has started up properly based on the ZDO_STATE_CHANGE_IND, APP_CNF_BDB_COMMISSIONING_NOTIFICATION, and UTIL_GET_DEVICE_INFO. Also make sure all memory has been erased before programming your device and use a sniffer if you are still unclear regarding the device status.

I have made all the test cases related to YiKai's blog post as per your suggestion. but getting the same results.

I would like to share the logs for both test cases.
I am receiving the ZDO_STATE_CHANGE_IND but the state of the device gets changed.

I am just receiving the DEV_COORD_STARTING (0x08) instead of DEV_ZB_COORD (0x09).

The device appears to fail the Network Formation stage of BDB commissioning. Please re-import your ZNP project into CCS v10.2 using the v4.40 SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-262-SDK and erase all flash memory using UNIFLASH or FLASH-PROGRAMMER before re-loading the image. Then clarify what changes you make to the project, SysConfig or otherwise, and consider using APP_CNF_BDB_SET_CHANNEL to change the primary channel mask.

I am using the ZNP-Host-Framework Application as a reference for communicating with the CC1352P ZNP device.

I have Reinstalled the CCS & CC1352/CC2652 SDK with the latest version.

Import the ZNP example & made the following changes.
1. Changed Tx Power to 20.
2. Set Primary Channel List for channels 11 to 18. (all are ticked)
3. Set Primary Channel List for channel 19 to 26. (all are ticked)
4. Set Baudrate to 1500000.

On Linux Application Side, the configurations are as same as the cmdline.c example of the ZNP-Host-Framework Application.

Now I am getting the following results.

Will you please help me to know why I am getting the device state as a DEV_COORD_STARTING (0x08) instead of the DEV_ZB_COORD (0x09)?

How do I read the NV Ram Configuration?

Please suggest any document for the NV RAM Implementation.

Please identify the specific change which breaks your application. Here are relevant E2E threads:

Please review your config.ini settings and perform a full memory erase or factory reset is performed. Non-volatile memory exists in flash, not RAM. You can read it with SYS_OSAL_NV_READ Monitor and Test APIs. But I think you are on the right track about your channel list being mixed between the ZNP and host which causes start-up confusion.

I have discarded all the changes & import the default ZNP Application with the latest version 4.40

Here is the hex file.

Now,

I am using the zigbeeHAgw application from the Zigbee Linux Gateway 3.0 as a reference.

Here are the logs files for both applications.

Also,

I am using the same hardware for both Zigbee Linux Gateway 3.0 & our custom application.

All the steps for configurations are as same as in the Zigbee Linux Gateway 3.0.

Note: had erased the flash memory before programming using the Using UniFlash Application.

Now,

I found that there are few commands used in the Zigbee Linux Gateway 3.0 not mentioned in the Z-stack API Document.

jamming paramter. (cmd0 : 0x21 cmd1 : 0x15)
Table update (cmd0 : 0x21 cmd1 : 0x07)

Will you please help me to know,

1. Why these commands are not mentioned in the documents?

2. If the Configuration in both applications is the same (except these 2 commands) why I am not able to get the network start indication?

Hi Shiv,

The jammer feature is no longer supported but not necessary for your network. The second command you've identified corresponds to SYS_OSAL_NV_ITEM_INIT and is important for network initialization. If you are able to successfully enable the zigbeeHAgw application from the ZIGBEE-SENSOR-TO-CLOUD solution then I recommend you reference the commands and process is uses for your custom application.
