If manually turning off an on/off switch, will the switch reports the off state to the coordinator?

The firmware is not our product. We buy it from another company, but it is a standard zigbee device with ZHA profile.

You can try to do binding to it and see if it will report switch status.

We use Match method(ZDP_MatchDescReq) binding the switch to the coordinator, is this method OK?

Does match request send from coordinator or device? By the way, can you show me what switch you are testing? Product web page or a snap shot will be fine.

This one is not listed on Zigbee certified products and I am not sure if it can report switch status after binding. You have to try to know it or contact manufacture for help.

I am not sure about this. Usually, you need to need detail device specification and test to know it.
