CC2538EM-RD: CC2538EM board USB connection - Standalone coordinator

If you use CC2538 ZNP example in Z-Stack 3.0, it goes through USB for UART communication.

Old and new board images 

We have One CC2538 DK with old version 1.2.0 - which works fine by using Sample Thermostat application in the Texas Instruments folder  with end device (730022)- pls find logs

We have purchased 5 new CC2538DK with 1.2.0.1 new version- But not  work with any of the end device (condition- only one ZC -Network ) 

network formation is ok, but after that no data frame received from end device 

pls find ubiquo packet logs- New version board

In sniffer log inside CC2538 new version.7z, the device doesn't join Zigbee network. You have to make device join Zigbee network first.

Because i just replaced old ZC (CC2538Dk 1.2.0) by new CC2538Dk 1.2.0.1 Zc

remaining all setup as it is , same ZED and used sample thermostat apps in CC2538Dk new board

Do you erase the NV on ZED and make it joint the new CC2538DK?

To erase means , flash the ZED one more time OR What?

You can use flash programmer 2 to erase CC2538 and download FW to it to test again.

yes, i used the flash programmer 2, but why to erase CC2538DK

i have flashed the ZED and using new CC2538 with smartRF06 board checking

but ZED not joined the ZC , any reason?

but the same ZED (End device) works fine with Old CC2538Dk (before 1 hr test results)

If you enable NV_RESTORE and don't erase flash, network information would be kept on NV and ZED won't join new ZC.

How to disbale NV_Restore at ZED side?

after disabling NV_restore and flash again the ZED, will it join the network?

what about ZC side, anything i have to do on ZC side ?

as a hardware designer, i just flashed the code in ZC and ZED.
so i will disable the NV_Restore and flash the ZED, again.

If you want to disable NV_RESTORE, I suggest you to disable it on both ZC and ZED. You can remove it from Project->Options...->C/C++ Compiler->Preprocessor->Defined symbols

This time I erased the ZC and flash it using flash programmer-2 and then select new ZED whose ID short address is 0xE358

I have just .out file for ZC and that I flashed into ZC 

This end device joined the network, but not received the data frame 

But no further data frame from ZED to ZC after data request 

In our application data is 65Byte length

Pls reply,  Why application specific command is not executed

Is your device with short address 0xE358? How do you send application data in 65 bytes?

its 32 byte payload data and not 65 byte data

on ZC side - using Z stack thermostat and cDC USB library used for coordinator

End device side- we used ztsack and applaiction code

as discussed - when we are able connect fresh end device with ZC it works

But for another second end device it wont work - only joined the network but no data frame- as per above logs

see, I have just .out file for appliaciton and .hex file end device zstack core

In few cases it works Both ZED and ZC works fine at first time connection

but lateron - second ZED only join the network but not sending data frame or ZC not receiving data frame

so i want to know , what is the reason .

I cannot tell what's the problem only according to your log and I don't think it's related to .out or hex file format.

Ok, But ZC should accept connection from more than one ZED ,but wont connect to more than one ZED's

One ZC and One ZED case- sometimes work with one ZED and sometime only form the network but no data frame
