how does ZLL touchlink work?

Hi all

when I finish reading the ZLL spec,i have some several question about touchlink。

        1.  does all the touchlink would accepted  by Router light ?  I can found any recognition step through the touchlink process?

        2.  if I have a factory new light and a remote switch, is it OK to work or should I need a coordinator to build the network?

        3.  when a router light  which being joined the network, accept someone  touch link , what is the next step does the light will take?  leave the network ? or do nothing?

BR!

  • 1. Couldn’t understand your question well.
    2. It won’t need coordinator.
    3. ZLL router should search Zigbee HA network to join after power on. If there’s no Zigbee HA network is available to join, it would turn to ZLL router and keep its status there.
  • 1.  I wonder if all the Remote Switch could control the Router light by using the touch link? because it seems that  there is not any steps to confirm whose touch link is OK to accept....

    2.  is that OK to build the network without coordinator ? does the Router have the ability of build network?

    3.  it would turn to ZLL router and keep its status ====> is that mean  it build a new network for the remote to join ? please refer the bellow log , when touch link process finished ,I saw that the router send a device announce, and  then  remote switch send a rejoin request to join it !

  • 1. I see no problem that a ZLL remote switch can control ZLL router light.
    2. Yes, ZLL router has capability to build network.
    3. Yes, it means ZLL router light builds a new network for the remote to join.
