How to set cc2538 + cc2592 tx power 0

Hi All

I know using this function "macRadioSetTxPower()" to set tx power.

CC2592 Spec：7.5dBm ~ 22dBm => 0x42 ~ 0xFF

But the spec doesn't define the value of tx power 0.

How can I set tx power 0?

Sometimes I need to turn off tx power.

Hi Austin,

The CC2592 is an amplifier. I don't believe you can set its gain down to 0 dBm. Is there a reason you need to broadcast at a lower power?

Can I turn off the rf power in other ways on cc2538?

CC2538+CC2952 is my router.

My end device will connect between many routers.

So, I need to switch rf power of router to control which router is connected by end device.

Hi Austin,

This post recommends using MAC_PwrOffReq() and MAC_PwrOnReq(). Have you tried that?
