Hi Guys,

Good day. We need your help to check our customer's concern.

They are working with TI launchPad kit with SimpleLink Wireless MCU LP-CC2652RB.

Their application is to connect the cc2652RB with camera IP as RX/TX communication. Could you help us and share guidance on how can we can connect the CC2652RB as RX/TX ?

One thing more, the customer only need to use the zigbee module of the CC2652RB for developing their code .

Hi Jonathan,

The customer can refer to the UART.h TI Driver API or uartecho example to get started with UART communication between the CC2652RB and camera IP. All Z-Stack application examples incorporate a UART peripheral for the Common User Interface (CUI) or communication with a host processor (specifically the ZNP or OTA server projects) so the customer can modify these implementations or refer to them for creating a second UART instance. I would also recommend the Z-Stack User's Guide and Zigbee SimpleLink Academy Labs for starting development. Is the customer certain that the Zigbee throughput (set at 250 kbps) will be suitable for their application?

Here is the customer's response below.

I am going to develop with the CC2652RB a zigbee gateway (coordinator) to add and manage the zigbee sensors for example Door sensor, motion sensor and siren.

This gateway will be connected to a camera IP as UART communication. I will develop my code with c/c++ linux.
