CC2530: CC2430 ZStack-1.4.3-1.2.1 / CC2530 Z-Stack 3.0.2 - Short address

Part Number: CC2530
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2430, Z-STACK

Hi all,

I am using for different projects CC2530 with Z-Stack 3.0.2 and CC2430 with ZStack-1.4.3-1.2.1. The role of my devices are Routers. A Coordinator or others Routers give the short address to the joined Router.

The problem that I have is that these Routers or Coordinator can move several tens of meters losing the Zigbee communication. For me this is not a problem, but in the case of updating the FW, the device lose the short address and I have to wait to have communication that at least one Router or Coordinator to join again in the network, and this can take several minutes, even hours...

I would like to know where can I get the Short Address (in both Zstack) once the device is joined in order to store it in a external memory. My idea is load the Zigbee network settings, at least the Short Address, and "force" to updated Router to communicate with the proper @, because it is an asynchronous comm.

Is there any variable, structure, pointer, etc. where the @ is stored in both Zstack? I coudn't found it.

Thanks in advance.

Joaquim.
