Z-Stack Linux Gateway 3: RAM and space requirements

Good morning

We are evaluating the CC2652 to be used in a new ZigBee gateway product for heating control...

But as always the end product has to be cheap and small....what are the memory and flash space requirements running the Z-Stack gateway software on an embedded Linux system roughly?

I assume 32MB flash and 64MB RAM would be too small?
Or is there like a gateway software lite for small footprints?

Dunno how Tuya does it with their TYZS4 ZigBee module on their OpenWRT gateway running with 32MB RAM and 16MB flash space...

Z-Stack Linux Gateway is just a reference design and 32MB RAM should be enough. If you need more compact RAM/Flash usage, you can use ZNP/MT command to implement Zigbee gateway by yourself. You can refer to www.ti.com/.../TIDC-ZNP-HOST-SW3

Hey Richard,

As YK mentioned, you can further modify an existing Z-Stack gateway host or develop your own to meet requirements. Ultimately it is the use of MT APIs to control the CC2652 acting as ZNP. TIDC-ZNP-HOST-SW3 uses znp-host-framework and you can reference this similar E2E post for Zigbee 3.0 porting efforts.
