CC2531EMK: ZStack interoperability with Matter.

As I know, TI won’t support Matter on CC2531 or CC2530.

Out of curiosity: is Zigbee interoperable with Matter in any way or not?

No, Zigbee and Matter won’t be able to talk each other.

The main reason for the Matter and Zigbee not being able to communicate is because ZigBee Runs on Radio meanwhile Matter on WiFi/Thread with Bluetooth for Commissioning?

I'm very curious about this new technology.

Also: what are the pros and cons of using Matter over ZigBee? 

I just discovered that Matter/CHIP was actually created with inspiration from the Zigbee specifications as its application layer is based on the Zigbee Cluster Library (ZCL) specification since the Matter/CHIP protocol uses Zigbee Cluster Library protocol which defines common means for applications to communicate.

CHIP also have a tool called ZAP to make Cluster definition easier.

I wanted to work on a ZigBee2Matter Converter to make life way easier to a lot of people, so I'm trying to understand the feasibility.

To convert between Zigbee and Matter, you might need to do it on bridge router, not on device itself.
