CC2520: Propagation Delay

Hello,

My customer plans to use CC2520.
They would like to put CC2520 between IEEE1588v2 master and slave to exchange TPT messages.
They would like to know around how much delay CC2520 has at TX path (SPI to RF)and RX path (RF to SPI) respectively.
Could you provide those numbers, please?

Hello K.Hirano,

There are too many independent variables specific to the customer's test setup (PHY throughput, SPI CLK speed, data packet size, etc), thus they will need to perform these measurements for themselves. They can begin radio evaluation with Smart RF Studio and further reference the available CC2520 software examples.

For minimizing delays, they will need to use the fastest PHY/CLK speeds available, select quiet channels, and relax CSMA backoff restrictions.
