LP-CC2652R7: Sysconfig modification issue in sysconfig tools.

Hello,

I am working on the TI matter solution(BLE+Thread), For that used "lock-app" demo example, that available in "connectedhomeip\examples\lock-app\cc13x2x7_26x2x7" folder structure, in the same folder chip.syscfg file also there, in that all the default hardware pin and other configuration present.

I want to change that configuration by using CCS or sysconfig tools, But unfortunately I can not able to import that project into CCS.

Any possible way by that we can import matter code(CHIP TI Solution) into CCS for compilation, debugging and set configuration?

In other way, For add change in sysconfig, we are trying to import "chip.syscfg" into sysconfig tools, but it shows error like "missing argument: --board or --device must be specified". How can we overcome from that?

TI SDK : simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_5_30_01_01
TI SysConfig : sysconfig_1.10.0

Which CCS version do you use? I would suggest you to use latest SDK 5.40 and matched CCS/Sysconf version to test again.

Hey, @YiKai Chen, I have tried to download latest TI SDK 5.40 from Ti.com, But it won't allowed me, Find the attached for see error. Apart from this any other solution you have?

Hi,

SysConfig 1.10 should be the correct version in this case.

For connectedhomeip build flow, we are using command line to build (i.e. no GUI).

If you'd like to use the GUI (such as in CCS), try adding this to your .syscfg file (right-click --> Open with --> Generic Text Editor):

// @cliArgs --board /ti/boards/LP_CC2652R7 --rtos freertos

This should be inserted before any of the modules.

Hey Toby,
I have added change in .syscfg file as per below line.

// @cliArgs --board /ti/boards/LP_CC2652R7 --rtos freertos --product "simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk@5.30.01.01"

After that seems like some progress but still new error introduce as below screenshot.

Hi Kaushik,

Can you try this attached file:

chip.syscfg

The main change here is that it uses the 5.30.03.01_eng SDK:

// @cliArgs --board "/ti/boards/LP_CC2652R7" --rtos "freertos" --product "simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk@5.30.03.01_eng"

Note that this is the same SDK referenced in the README: https://github.com/project-chip/connectedhomeip/blob/20c564bedb47070c838869dde00a8729b22fe5f3/examples/lock-app/cc13x2x7_26x2x7/README.md?plain=1#L162 .

Make sure that this SDK can be found by your sysconfig (for example in Windows, SysConfig will typically search for SDKs in your C:/ti drive).
In my case, I have the SDK here: C:\ti\simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_5_30_03_01_eng

If not already installed, this eng SDK may be requested here: https://ti.com/chip_sdk

If the attached file does not work, can you attach/share your respective .syscfg here?

Thanks Toby for detailed explanation, After pass correct Matter SDK version, Now I can able to see system configuration in syscfg tool.
