CC2652R7: Could CC2652R7 support DMM with Thread RCP + BLE master

Hi team,

Customer want to use CC2652R7 as border router RCP. But they also need to have BLE master role. Could CC2652R7 use DMM support to support these (Thread RCP + BLE master) ?

Hi Jerry,

It is theoretically possible for the CC2652R7 to support Thread and BLE stack protocols using DMM, however TI has developed any out-of-box examples for this specific use case. Is the customer investigating Matter technology?

Hi Ryan,

yes, they will develop Matter router and ask if the RCP can support BLE master with DMM. Does current SDK provide example to support this use-case ?

As stated previously, this is not a use case supported in TI's current ecosystem. The customer would need to develop their own or use a two-chip solution.
