CC2652P: 802.15.4 PHY selection & availability on SmartRF Studio 7

Hi champs,

 

In order to evaluate CC2652P radio (in the view of Thread protocol implementation), we like to use SmartRF Studio 7 with CC2652P  to run IEEE802.15.4 and then test the PHY performances

When enabling the IEEE 802.15.4 settings on smartRF studio 7, it seems like there is only one PHY layer/modulation available (IEEE 802.15.4-2006, 250kbps, OQPSK, DSSS = 1:8)

 

Q1/ Is this PHY/modulation setting is the only one available on SmartRF Studio 7/CC2652P?

Q1a/ If not, how could other PHY/modulation be set ?

Q1b/ What PHY/modulations are available within TI IEEE802.15.4?

 

Q2/ What 802.15.4 PHY/modulation is used by Thread? Any of the ones available on 802.15.4 ?
