Hello Guys,

I successfully flashed the dongle program using the option (Download and Debug) , Then I opened OTA server PC Tool. In that, I gave all the parameters and select open port.

But the pan id did not created. So, I added the B2B line in the end of OTA_Dongle_Init. Atlast, the pan ID created successfully.

Actually I flashed the image A and B of HA sampleswitch application.

After the pan ID creation, I gave broadcast image notify option in device list. I enclosed the image whatever it shows in given below.

There is no device available under the PAN ID.

This is the line, I added --> bdb_StartCommissioning(BDB_COMMISSIONING_MODE_NWK_FORMATION | BDB_COMMISSIONING_MODE_NWK_STEERING);

I don't how to go to the next step.

I am using z-stack - 3.0.2 and EWARM - 9.40.1.

I am totally confused by your descriptions. You can either go with Zigbee OTA or Contiki but don't mess up two together.

Ok. Actually, We have some sensors in our carrier board. I want to do the program for the sensors and transfer this program as image. Transfer this image as firmware in OTA.

What are all the steps I have to follow ?

I am using Z-stack- 3.0.2 and EWARM - 8.30.1.

I suppose you should add related code to read sensors data in your application code and add OTA capability to your application. For OTA, you can refer to SampleSwitch example.

Ok. I have already the sensor code, then the only work is to add the client functionality to this sensor code. right ?

I will refer the sampleswitch program. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

If your sensor code is based on Contiki, I don’t know how you can add Z-Stack OTA code to it.

Yes. You said these example program for only cc2538dk. But In our carrier board that program works fine without any error.

So, our board is consistable for that Z-stack, all the client and dongle program executes fine till that PANID creation. But why that node creation is not happened ?

I used the correct version of z-stack and ewarm.

For OTA dongle, you need to press UP button on CC2538DK to form and network steering to allow device to join. For SampleSwich, you need to use buttons and LCD to operate GUI on CC2538DK to do network steering to join Zigbee network. Since you don’t use CC2538DK, you have to revise application code to form and do network steering on your CC2538 custom board.
