I have three cc2530 zigbee modules ,zigbee development board by GBAN and cc debugger .I want to know about pairng(binding) two zigbees.

I configured one module as coordinator and other two are routers.

In my development board there is no joystick, so how i pair these devices without having a joystick.............

it has only a ping key in the board connected to p0_1

please help me as soon as possible..................................................................................

First step is to make your P0.1 act as SW2 key event. I remember that I had suggest you how SW6 is implemented in hal_key.c last time.

Since your ping key uses P0.1, press it should send SW6 key event which means you don't have to change hal_key.c. Using SampleLight as example, you can try to change " if ( keys & HAL_KEY_SW_2 )" to " if ( keys & HAL_KEY_SW_6 )" in zclSampleLight_HandleKeys(). Do the same thing to SampleSwitch and you should be able to play with them.

I made the changes in the code as per your information.now when i am pressing the buttons(long press) on both the boards then leds starts blinking

then i opened the sniffer tool then it shows some becon frames .

is the pairing successful ?

if no , how i identify is it paired?

If you only see beacon frames, it means you don't do pairing successful. To confirm this, please attach your sniffer log.

now my sniffer doesn't show any frames
and also the leds doesn't blink when i press the button for a long time
once the sniffer starts then the yellow led glows and when it pauses then no lights are glows,is there any problem with my sniffer?

Try to remove NV_RESTORE from compile options in both SampleLight and SampleSwtich. Then, test again.

Please enable TC_LINKKEY_JOIN on both SampleLight and SampleSwitch. Test again and if it still doesn't work, Please attach sniffer log. By the way, do you config SampleLight as coordinator and SampleSwitch as end device in your test?

i edited the PAN id in the f8wConfig.cfg to 1234,
As per your information i edited the code zcl_samplelight.c (SW_2 to SW_6)
Downloaded the program to the zigbee
in the h/w
one switch at p2_0 and one at p0_1
and green led on p1_0,yellow led on p1_4 and a red led on p1_1 respectively

Try to set a breakpoint at "giLightScreenMode = LIGHT_MAINMODE;" in ZDO_STATE_CHANGE case of zclSampleLight_event_loop() and run the debugger. Check if it stop at this breakpoint. If yes, coordinator starts correctly.

sir when i download the code into the coordinator then green and yellow leds blink once and red led will turn on permenantly

when i starts the sniffer tool and press start button then the yellow led will on and red will off.

and when pauses the sniffer then all leds are off

(to restore to initial condition i will re-download it)

I don't have your HW so I cannot judge anything from your LEDs behavior. Please check if the coordinator stops at breakpoint : "giLightScreenMode = LIGHT_MAINMODE;" in ZDO_STATE_CHANGE case of zclSampleLight_event_loop().

It looks that your SampleSwitch has joined SampleLight. However, I need your sniffer log to confirm this.

Are you sure this is the sniffer log mapped to your screen capture? I don't see SampleSwitch pairs with SampleLight correctly in the sniffer log.

i am using this h/w.
so it has some jumper configuration to enable sniffer mode in it .
as per this manuel i made the jumper configuration ,then ....
when i start sniffer somthing happens in my board
i connected led's on p2_0 , p1_4 , p1_0 of the zigbee pins
when i starts sniffer then all led's turn off and only one led which is connected to the 1_4 is turns on
when i disconnect the sniffer then no led is glowing.
usually i am downloading the code again to detect the board in ztool
please help me

If you buy CC2531EMK, it should preload with Sniffer FW on it.

When you connect CC2531EMK to PC and open TI packet sniffer, it would turn on CC2531EMK RX and keep to sniff messages over the air.

now i am coded one zigbee as coordinator(saple light) and other is End device(sample switch)
i have't made any modification in the code just downloaded.
i want to know,at this condition if i press switch1 on the end device ,what will happend is the led on the coordinator toggles?

You have to trigger EZ-mode or end device binding before you can press SW1 on SampleSwitch to send toggle command.
