Questions on modifying Zlight reference design.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62290

Hi all,

I have a question on the circuit in the Zlight reference design (http://www.ti.com/tool/CC2531ZLIGHT2-RD)

In the schematic, it uses two voltage regulators, one for the microcontroller (TPS76933) and another for the LEDs (TPS62290). I know the TPS62290 is required because it provides up to 1A of current for the LEDs. I am redesigning the board and would like to ask if I power up the CC2531 with the TPS62290and not use the TPS76933? I am trying to use as little components as possible in the design.

Also, is the 32.768 kHz crystal required if I am running the default sample program for Zlight provided by TI?

Thanks!
