CC2531: Configure ZigBee client bind to send commands

Thanks for the quick response - what I'm looking for is information on configuring this from the gateway perspective as we are using ZStack as a gateway coordinator. I assume that these samples show the capability from the device perspective?

Thanks again for the response. I'm aware how to perform a bind - my original point was that for many devices where we want to bind to a client cluster, using a unicast binding doesn't seem to work. This seems to be common with many devices - ie I've tried what I wrote on my first message on a few devices, so I'm wondering if there is documentation available somewhere on what sort of binding needs to be configured.

Does anyone have a pointer to configuring a binding from (lets say) a remote control, or wallswitch that outputs commands when the switch is controlled (ie not just updating attributes)?

What Zigbee Stack version are you using? Binding procedures are located in Chapter 4 of the Z-Stack 3.01 User's Guide, Finding & Binding is also a commissioning process described in 15.7. Can you please provide a sniffer/gateway logs where you demonstrate attempting bind creation and command generation?

If you intend to do binding from remote control, or wallswitch, you can consider using ZDP_EndDeviceBindReq instead of ZDP_BindReq.
