For additional for our topic and the power consumption. I check the cc2592 the power down mode is tipical 0.1uA mximum 0.3uA.
I think the RF switch is the same.
The power down made is automatic if no RX or TX
P.S But transmit current is not humane. ;) 150mA
Yes, the problem is the power consumption of CC2592 when doing TX/RX is much larger in compare with CC1352P
