Hi,

Im currently using a custom board with a TM4C1294NCPDTI3 and a CC2520. Im using the Energia IDE for coding this.

I'm having an issue with activating the CC2520 using the SPI. I can't seem to find any kinda of documentation with these 2 integration. Any help on how i can use these 2 together code examples maybe would be very helpful.

Hi Navdeep,

As stated in from the original question thread, the only Z-Stack CC2520 transceiver solutions were released with Z-Stack Energy 1.x or Z-Stack 2.x which are no longer maintained on Z-STACK-ARCHIVE. There are some MSP430 host examples you can reference:

I highly recommend the CC2538 or SIMPLELINK-CC13X2-26X2-SDK. Otherwise, reference Chapter 10 of the CC2520 datasheet for SPI timing requirements and subsequent chapters for commands and tx/rx instructions. Verify the communication with a logic analyzer or oscilloscope. I would not recommend using the Energia IDE to accomplish this.
