CC2630: Zigbee stack selection?

If I plan to use 1*CC2652P+168*CC2630(acting as nodes) to form a star network, please help recommend the zigbee protocol stacks that these two chips should use, thank you.

For CC2630, you should use Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a which can be downloaded from Z-STACK-ARCHIVE.

In our system, CC2630 just do simple ADC sampling and upload results. If CC2630 is not recommended, we hope that the smaller the chip package size, the better. Is there a recommended PN?

In addition, could CC2652 and CC2530 complete star network networking?

1. CC2652 only has 7x7 package.

2. Both CC2652 and CC2530 can do star network networking

Sorry, my bad. I remember it wrong. It's CC2650/CC2630 has 7x7, 5x5, and 4x4 packages. CC2652R doesn't. I correct this in my previous reply.

If board space is a concern, you may also consider CC2652RB, which saves some space otherwise needed by an external crystal.

With that said, if the priority of small package size is much greater than future proofing (e.g. new Zigbee spec), then simple applications as you have mentioned may be used on CC2630/CC2650.

For large networks, you may need to increase the NV pages on the Zigbee coordinator (in this case CC2652). Please refer to this: http://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_20_00_35/docs/zigbee/html/zigbee/z-stack-overview.html#modifying-non-volatile-memory-allocation

For CC2652, you can use Zigbee Stack in latest SimpleLink™ CC13x2 and CC26x2 software development kit (SDK) v4.20.00.35. For CC2530, you can use latest Z-Stack 3.0.2.
