How to Interface CC2564 Bluetooth in Linux.

Hi All,

We are using CC2564 Bluetooth chip in our board, having freescale's processor and linux kernel operating system. I downloaded it's SDK from following link: "www.ti.com/tool/tibluetoothstack-sdk" . It gives the two Bluetooth Stacks.

Does any one know how to enables the bluetooth chip on the board ?

Does this chip have linux kernel driver ?

Hi,

You need to integrate the shared transport driver (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Shared_Transport_Driver) and use the Bluetooth stack from www.ti.com/.../wilink-sw (Version: 4.0.1.4.2U - will work with CC2564.

The CC2564 initscript (processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC256x_Downloads) should be placed in: "/lib/firmware/"

Hello,
Is Bluetooth stack compatable with x64 CPU linux machine? I need to connect cc2564MODEN board to laptop via SiliconLabs uart-usb chip. And attach it to linux with hciattach bluez command.

The Bluetopia stack provided with TI SDK is NOT compatible to x64 architecture. However, since you seem to go be using Bluez stack, which is open source, there are should no issues with using CC256x Module.
