HSP Demo CLK problems

Hi,

You need to check the codec interface parameters.
Please see: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC256x_VS_HCI_Commands

There's an API provided that sends this command. Please see: VS_PCM_Codec_Config_Slave_I2S().
Please also see Audio.c "initializeAudio" function and confirm if the parameters are correct.

You need to also confirm if the SCO connection is established. Do you get the etHDSET_Audio_Connection_Indication event?

First of all i do get the "etHDSET_Audio_Connection_Indication " event.
in this event in the demo i have the "initializeAudio" function which is put under remark since i dont have that function. i was under the impression i am suppose to put my init function there (is that wrong?).

in audio.c i can see the function "initialize_AUDIO" which is probably what you mean. so my understanding is that i have call it in case of
"etHDSET_Audio_Connection_Indication " event (is that true?).

also i will check the parameters to make sure they are correct.

I meant initializeAudio() in "platform\audio\audio.c" - the function that calls VS_PCM_Codec_Config_Slave_I2S().

i am now using the " VS_PCM_Codec_Config_Slave_I2S()" in my code with the right parameters.
the function return success value, but still i am not able to see the Clocks on the scope while touching the proper debug pins.

perhaps there is something else missed?
My first aim is to see these clocks generated by the cc2564 BT module.

A few comments from our firmware team:

1. You should configure the codec before accepting the voice connection
2. Why Fsynch Mutlplier field is set to 0x20?
3. There’s some issue with the offsets.. (should be something like: Send_HCI_VS_Write_CODEC_Config 0xFD06, 256, 0x01, 8000, 0x0001, 0, 0x00, 0x00, 0x0010, 0x0001, 1, 0x0010, 0x0001, 0, 0x00, 0x0010, 0x0011, 0x01, 0x0010, 0x0011, 0x00, 0x00)

1. Where exactly does that mean? what is the place in the code when the voice connection is accepted?

2. This was the default value in the code, when i got you reply I've tried the values of 0x00 and 0xFF with the same result -> cant see any output clocks.

3. Tried it with the values you gave me and again, no output clocks.
