Reading MPU-9250 logs from CC2650STK

Hello,

I recently got a SensorTag and I need to read motions data (gyro, accelerometer, magnetometer) and other info that the MPU is providing with a higher sampling rate that is shown in the app (>25Hz). What is the fastest way to get that kind of data from the SensorTag on my computer (I'm using Linux) ?

Hi Fredrick,

So there is no way to get the high rate data through the app and I need to I need to modify the codes in this package (www.ti.com/.../cc26xxware), right?
Is there any API to communicate with the MPU or I need to do that myself through the I2C?

If you download a copy of CCS and SimpleLink Academy - you can find the SensorTag 2 source code.

In that project there is a file Application --> SensorTag.c. Line 111 has ST_PERIODIC_EVT_PERIOD - I have changed this to 10ms (then flashed it to the SensorTag along with SensorTagAppStack) and all worked fine (I also built a custom app for Mac OSX just to enable the MPU and read the data via notifications).
