Would we be able to use a clock source instead of the 24Mhz crystal HF? We have a space issue on our PCB and

are looking into supplying the 24Mhz from another uP.

We do currently not support external clock signal for the 24MHz signal, so you must add the 24MHz crystal. for revision 2.3 or later of the CC26xx you can skip the 32 kHz xtal thouhg and use the RC oscillator. The plan is to release the app note some time in December.

Also an RTOS & BLE-Stack SW update (coming early 2016) that enables SW support for using internal RCOSC. Note that 32kHz RCOSC mode will only support the BLE Broadcaster & Peripheral roles. The Central role will require an ext 32kHz XTAL
