Service discovery works, but OAD (Over-the-Air-Download) to CC2650 SensorTag 2 with the IOS app fails too

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2650

Without success, I have tried to convert my three newly bought and unmodified SensorTag 2 from Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to ZigBee to create a mesh network. The product is CS2650STK, HW Rev: 1.3.2, SW Rev: 1.2.1, $29 each.

Since OAD (Over-the-Air-Download) to CC2650 SensorTag with the Android app currently fails (see post "Service discovery works, but OAD (Over-the-Air-Download) to CC2650 SensorTag 2 with the Android app fails" dated August 22nd), I borrowed an iPhone 5c running IOS 9.3.4 (13G35) from August 16th and installed the app 'Simplelink SensorTag' today. Running the app, my sensortag is detected, connected, its services are discovered and sensor data is displayed:

Selecting Firmware update and selecting the ZigBee Factory firmware, the OAD progress monitoring screen appears, but there is no progress:

Hitting "Cancel" is the only way out. The alternatives to "High Speed", i.e. "Safe mode" and "Advanced" fails the same way. Connecting to a different SensorTag 2 gives the same result.

Is this simply a bug? Is a fix being prepared?
