Hello,

I am new to CC2650 launchpad, I installed flash programmer 2 Ver. 1.7.4. and also update the firmware in the launchpad.

everything works fine. but if I removed TDI and TDO jumper between XDS110 and CC2650. then the programmer won't identify the target anymore.

I checked the setting, XDS100v3 use 2-pin cJTAG was checked.

my question. is launchpad support cJTAG? I think cJTAG doesn't need TDI and TDO to communicate to the target.

any trick to setup the software, firmware. jumpers.

Hi David,

The default configuration for Flash Programmer 2 is to use 4-pin JTAG. It is very easy to change this to cJTAG though, just do a search here on the forum.

The debugger on the LaunchPad is an XDS110 btw.

The XDS110 on the LaunchPad supports cJTAG. However, it is the SW tool you use that decides if cJTAG or 4-pin JTAG is actually used.

Flash Programmer 2 is currently using 4-pin JTAG by default. You can change this by following the instructions found here: e2e.ti.com/.../533931
