LL_VERSION_IND

Hi,

I've enabled some of the BLE 4.2. features (-DBLE_V42_FEATURES=SECURE_CONNS_CFG+PRIVACY_1_2_CFG) and now, I saw that LL_VERSION_IND PDU send from the slave to the master contains the version 0x07, which means 4.1.

I've searched the whole Software Stack 2.2.0 Developer's Guide for the term "version", but found no way to configure the stack to send LL_VERSION_IND PDUs with the correct 4.2 (0x08) version id.

Any idea, how to fix that?

Problem was temporary. Rebuilding and reflashing the stack solved.

Thanks for the update Torsten,

For any other users who may be having this question. The BLE Link Layer will update the flags used in LL_VERSION_IND based on the features built into the stack at build time. Note that in order for these flags to update OTA you will need to flash the stack.
